I believe every human being must identify a purpose for which he or she arises every morning, a purpose for which he or she works daily and a purpose for which he or she will be remembered .
I believe my purpose is to serve my community by contributing my skills and resources towards the realization of a better tomorrow.
I was born on April 5, 1982, at Koforidua in the Eastern Region of Ghana. I started my education at Pentecost School in Koforidua, continued at St Bernadette School in Accra and completed my SHS at Pope John Senior High School in Koforidua. I proceeded to the University of Cape Coast and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting. I also possess an Executive MBA in Marketing from the University of Ghana Business School and a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) Faculty of Law.
In 2016, I became a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana after obtaining a Qualifying Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law. Prior to becoming a lawyer, I completed a Fellowship of the African Leadership Initiative.
I started my career as a Treasury Analyst with British American Tobacco Company Ltd in 2006. Later in 2007, I moved to JOY FM as a broadcast journalist hosting the Super Morning Show. As part of my journalism career, I also hosted the Saturday morning news analysis program as well as the 2012 IEA Presidential Debate.
In the year 2020, the World Economic Forum named me as one of the world's 115 Young Global Leaders for the year.
In raising our children, My wife Akua and I believe children should be allowed to explore their own talents and potential but guided to hold on to the values of Integrity, service and decency.
I am currently the Minister for Information. Prior to my appointment as the substantive Minister in November 2018, I served as Deputy Minister for Information.
I am also the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ofoase-Ayirebi constituency in the Eastern Region.
I am serving my second term as MP in the 8th Parliament of Ghana.

I love football; Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Ghana’s Black Stars and Manchester United are my favourite football clubs.

I am a Christian and worship at the ICGC Evangel Temple in New Dawhenya.
